This cake has a lot of cute and colourful details, including a handmade 3D Mario, Yoshi, Mario coins, retro red and green toadstools, piranha plants, retro stars, retro blocks, and clouds ...all made out of fondant! Wow!
This cake was personally made for two brothers to enjoy at their joint birthday party. You would think the brothers would want their cake to include both Mario and Luigi as their cake topper, but Joshua picked Yoshi instead while Justin stuck to Mario.
The cake was vanilla confetti with butter cream filling; all covered with fondant. The Mario Bros remind me of my childhood. Oh it definitely took me back every step of the way while making this cake. I had fun to say the least!
